About to go into the studio...

Yeah, I'm going into the studio with my band in about 2 weeks. I'm really really excited!!! Extremely nervous. Band sounding really really awesome, I'll post a link to the new stuff when we get it done. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of it!

The music we play is very traditional. Our main influences are Black Sabbath (you'll hear it in there), Machine Head, The Sword, Slayer and OLD Metallica. There's some Lamb of God in there too, and we kinda sing Randy Blythe style vocals. I sing on one song that we are recording and my bass player sings on the other three.

Met with the guy from the studio today, and you can tell he's really into it-not just some asshole turning knobs. He's a musician as well so he really has his head in the right place. Right now we are recording January 24th and 25th and mixing on the 27th so by the end of this month, I'll have it up on our myspace page and anywhere else I can put it. If anyone has any suggestions of where else to put the music, let me know. The latest it will be online is the first week of February because of copyrighting-I don't want to work hard recording this shit and have someone steal it.

Thanks for all of the wishes of luck so far-I can't wait to spread this shit around to the world and hear what you guys think.

Charles-Lead and Rhythm guitars, Vocals
Matt-Bass and Vocals
Corey-Lead and Rhythm guitars
Rob-Drums, percussion, driving entirely too fast down the highway.

So yeah done with two drum tracks now and The Epic Bassman is done with one of his bass tracks. Sounds fucking awesome. Due to unforseen difficulties, we can only do two songs instead of four right now and will go back before the end of March to do the other two. It's sounding great and it hasn't even been mixed yet! Should be done before the week is out.
