I dunno. Most of the plant, Ghost, and rock types were prety cool. a lot of the fire were just fun, and the Dragons were great.

I guess my impresions really boil down to the starters, RBY- you have 2 WTF mons, and a turtle. GSC had 2 WTF mons, and a crocodile. RSE, bird, gecko, and one that is just a weird frog. I havent seen much of P/D, but the 2 starters Ive seen are a monkey and a penguin.

My main problem with the newer dudes, is that a lot of the time, it was harder figuring out what type the opposing Pokemon was, simply by looking at it.

I mean, yeah, Bulbasaur? It's grass, I can tell. Haunter is ghost. Machoke is obviously fighting, and Raichu is obviously electric.

Numel? All I got from that was that it was a yellow camel. I assumed electric, and only when I caught it did I realize it was fire.

I didn't even know what type Bidoof/Bibarel was, I assumed it was Normal. Same with Drifblim, I had no clue it was a ghost.

Eh, I don't know. Maybe if I had cash and knew that you could get the starters from the first/second generation and the old trade evolutions (From Blue to Crystal, like Machoke and Onix, ect.) a lot easier. I guess it probably would with Wi-Fi now. I can't imagine anyone other than a friend of mine would still keep playing the old games, except for one guy who re-created PKMN Gold to be multi-player on gamefaqs...

Team Name: Nine-to-Fivers : Gardevoir Lv. 71[Calm Mind, Double Team, Future Sight, Psychic] holding Leftovers
Not sure what the IV is so HP=196, Attack=151, Defense=108, Sp. Attk=204, Sp. Def.=188, Speed=188

Metagross Lv. 61 [Psychic, Meteor Mash, Metal Claw, Earthquake] holding Macho Brace
HP=200, Attack=188, Defense=189, Sp Attk=127, Sp.Def= 128, Speed=109

Blaziken Lv 83 [Sky Uppercut, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Brick Break]
HP=267, Attack=226, Defense=150, Sp. Attk=223, Sp. Def.=124, Speed= 195
Now I'm having a debate whether I should forget Brick Break, or Sky Uppercut for Thunder Punch. Which one do you recommend?

Dusclops Lv. 45[Curse, Protect, Confuse Ray, Pursuit]
HP=103, Attack=81, Defense=130, Sp.Attack= 70, Speed=40
Whenever I trade him over from Emerald to Diamond, I would like to teach this guy Earthquake. Is this a good idea. Also note that after I done training with Metagross I will put the Macho Brace on him.

Electrode lv. 53 [Tackle, Self-Destruct, Thunder, Shock Wave]
HP= 152, Attack=85, Defense=79, Sp Attack= 96, Sp. Def=117, Speed=172
I will put the Macho Brace on him after Dusclops.

Orius, I have a couple questions. I had caught myself a Pokemon that for some reason has become one of my favorites: Chatot. Don't ask why.

Just wondering:
A) Would it be detrimental in my goal of beating the Elite Four, having two Flying Pokemon?
B) Does it learn any powerful moves later on? And do those moves rely mainly on his Attack, or his Special Atk value? (BTW, the fact that these stats are low doesn't matter, I can load him up with Proteins/whatever)
C) Can it learn any powerful TMs?

I know I could probably check Pokemon Marriland, but I'm lazy, plus you're smart enough in this area where you'd know what to do. :P

And I'll post my updated team later, should it help in determining what to cut.
