I can't help but noticed how similar Trivium sounds to old good Metallica. Maybe it's a hint to those old douchebags that it's time to hang up the skates and fucking retire.

Ascendancy was the last good Trivium album imho. after that they got too "Classic Rock" for my tastes

I don't know man, to be honest, their new album sounds fairly promising. At least it will be better then anything Metallica has put out in the new millennium..I'm sure we can all agree.

I enjoyed quite a bit of The Crusade, and can definitely hear Metallica's first four albums in there.
